BIOGRAPHY
Tina was bitten by the acting bug at age 15 doing high school producions & musicals. She went on to major in theatre at Los Angeles City College then on to UCLA where she got her BA. Since then, she has done numerous theatrical and musical productions as well as TV & film.
Her TV credits include THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE, THE GILMORE GIRLS, a recurring role in HBO’s THE MIND OF THE MARRIED MAN, GENERAL HOSPITAL, DAYS OF OUR LIVES and many more.
Tina has appeared in numerous feature films, including the yet to be released George Lucas WWII epic RED TAILS. Alongside Christian Slater in HE WAS A QUIET MAN, as Esai Morales’ mother in AMERICAN FUSION, two horror films AMHURST and SEANCE as Corey Feldman’s grandmother and LORD HELP US, to name a few.
A partial list of live theatrical productions are THE BAD SEED, REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES, BLOOD WEDDING, THE ODD COUPLE, SPOON RIVER ANTHOLOGY and THE SOUND OF MUSIC. At the beginning of her career she enjoyed touring with A CHRISTMAS CAROL but not as an actress, but as Shirley Jones’ dresser!
Tina is a California native, from National City, a community south of San Diego. Her father was an orchestra leader in the 40′s and played in the bands of Xavier Cougat and Desi Arnaz. Her mother was an original “Rosie the Riveter” -ladies who made airplaines during World War II in San Diego, California. There are very few “Rosie’s” left in the US. They have their own “Rosie the Riveter” museum in San Francisco.
Tina is ever grateful to her drama teacher Mr. Bernard Collier and Mr. Albert Borrelli for Glee, high school mentors who inspired and encouraged her to live her dream.
